A real saw.

It's a real 20 inches saw. With two batteries, you can go all day long. If it is as good and as trouble free as the 16 inches I have had for almost 5 years (still working as new after a few blades and a sproket change), it will be a quite economical purchase. I only hope it put more chain oil on the chain than the 16 inches do.

Great working equipment ! No fuss or muss, just great performance. Beats any gas equipment for easy start and maintenance. Should have bought sooner.

Good First Impression

I've only used it for a day, but it's very good so far!

Great Purchase

Every bit as much zip and power as my old gas Husquevarna; and really love that when the cut is done, the power is off - no idling engine burning gas as I move wood around. The only negative I would have is that with a bigger battery, it's a pretty heavy unit; but I'm OK with that as I wanted the bigger bar.

Replacement chain unavailable

The saw works well, I am surprised by its power. Replacement chains are unavailable. That's a major drawback.

This chainsaw is a BEAST!!!!!

AWESOME! This chainsaw is a BEAST!!!!! We are enjoying how great it cuts and how quick it starts and how well balanced and easy to use compared to our old gas powered saws. We loved the 20" SO MUCH that we went and bought a 16" ECHO chainsaw while they were still on sale to handle smaller cutting work.

Only a little disappointing

I’ve used the EGO 18” saw for awhile, and wanted the 20”. I was disappointed because there are features of the 18 that I wish they had included in the 20. Removing the cover to change the chain on the 18 is a breeze. The 20 has two bolts that need to be loosened, like a typical gasoline saw. Likewise tightening the chain, one hand and no tools on the 18, need the screwdriver end of the tool on the 20. And I haven’t benchmarked it, but it seems like the 20 depletes the battery way faster than the...

Powerful Saw

This saw works great. I've cut Cedar and Siberian Elm with it so far, this machine goes thru them like butter. The lower power settings allow you to cut with pretty good power and still save on the battery life. You never have to worry about if it's going to start or not.

B***** chainsaw

I would never go back to gas again. This chainsaw I would put against any other 20 inch on the market.

Very powerful and easy to use

I bought this chainsaw to replace a 12 inch gas Echo. I had a tree come down in my front yard, and the older gas Echo just wasn't going to cut it (pun intended). I was hesitant to buy a battery powered chainsaw but this thing turned out great. It cut through that tree like it was nothing. Also great, just a push button start.
