Would RecommendThe CS 1815 was a replacement for my older version. The enhancements are excellent. The ergonomics and the cutting power have both improved significantly. I've also observed that the chain braking is quicker than the older model, noticeably improving the safety. I would highly recommend this saw to anyone.

Powerful electric chainsaw with nice features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This EGO POWER+ electric chainsaw is great. I've used it to cut up a tree that had broken off its top, and it did it effortlessly. Since it's electric, it's remarkably quiet for a chainsaw. Even with its large battery, I felt like it wasn't that heavy and I had an easy time handling it.

Powerful, Quiet, and Convenient Battery Chainsaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who was initially skeptical about how well a battery-powered chainsaw could perform compared to traditional gas models, this tool completely exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box (after adding bar and chain oil), this saw has serious cutting power. I used it to take down a medium-sized tree, and it sliced through the trunk with surprising ease. The 18” bar gives you enough reach for most yard tasks without feeling unwieldy. ...

Pleasant to work with
Cuts like a gas engine. Perfect for bucking a tree or felling trees in the 16" diameter range. Felled and bucked three trees on one charge. Perfect time for a break. I don't know about bigger than that as my trees weren't that big.

Great for yard clean up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perfect addition to yard works! It’s perform well with small or large work. I have cleared out overhanging branches with this. I can get a good amount of work for the battery as well. A minus is battery (need to wait to charge) but the machine operates as strong as a gas one.

Love this saw!
This is my 2nd EGO purchase and am very happy with it. I really love not having to mess with gas/oil mixtures or tempermental carburetors. This saw has all the power that I need and the 6 AH battery outlasted the job I was doing. I thought the saw might be too heavy with the 6ah battery but it was very well balanced and you really don't notice the weight. I don't think it is any heavier than a comparable gas saw. I liked this saw so much that I went out and purchased their 16" string t...

Awesome piece of equipment. I would highly recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this bad boy out for the first time this weekend. I was seriously impressed. I had a hybrid tree in my backyard that I let get out of control and had to cut down the equivalent of 2 main tree trunks and a bunch of offshoot branches. The Ego chainsaw handled it easily. It had enough power to cut through 10” diameter sections like a hot knife through butter. It still had plenty of battery power left after downing the tree to trim all the se...

Wear your PPE as this unit is strong , can handle most jobs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for something heavy duty, this would definitely fit your situation. I do have the Makita version which is a lot lighter, but the engine torques out whereas this one has some serious power. I didn’t have a large trunk to cut, but I did trim some rosemary bushes and a rosebush in about 15 seconds. It has a nice sleek design. It is a little heavy due to the weight of the battery so make sure you have some muscle. Lasts a long tim...

Definitely recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical of a battery powered chainsaw and I was wonderfully proven wrong! This saw eats through whatever branch you put in front of it. The battery lasts a full day and due to the placement in The saw it balances it really well.
