Chain is too tight

I've only used the saw for maybe 20 minutes now, but so far, I'm loving it. It cuts great, and with an adequately sized battery is very powerful. The 2.5 AH battery works, but overheats on hard cuts. It's pretty heavy. With a larger battery its as heavy as my gas chainsaw, but I still like it a lot. I don't consider the chain tightening mechanism to be tool free. By itself, it tightens the chain WAY too tight! I put a screwdriver or something between the bar and the chain while using the tool...

18” Chainsaw review

Worked great on limbing many branches. Loved the freedom vs my old corded electric chainsaw. Taking the cover off to clean and then reassemble was fairly smooth. The power was surprisingly strong. Battery life was also surprisingly long. This is my fifth Ego tool.

So easy to use and start. Good power. Like it a lot.

Very Nice saw

I think this chain saw is great, If you know how to us a chain saw, you can make the batter work for you, the oil compartment doesn't leak like most. The oil isn't over done. The chain adjustment is very handy. Overall, very nice for moderate to light mid cutting.
