First use of 16” chainsaw
Initial cutting power was good, but that only lasted for the first 5 minutes. I’ve since had to buy a new chain and I’ve only used it once. In addition my 56v battery started flashing red and needed to cool down after about 10 minutes of use. It also drained fairly quickly. I have other EGO products and have been really happy with their performance. It’s been a disappointing first use of my 16” chainsaw. Perhaps the replacement chain will last longer than the manufacturer provided one. Time will...

Would RecommendNeat chainsaw, decently powerful. Made short work of 10inch pines. After a day of use it sounds like I might have a bearing failure. More testing is required.

Stopped dead after 2 years of light service
Would Not RecommendI would have given 5 stars, except after using it and really liking it for a couple seasons it just stopped dead on me in the middle of a cut. It is currently in the shop for warranty service. Hopefully it will be repaired or replace under warranty. I’ve been told it will take about a month for EGO to respond. Meanwhile … I’m without a chainsaw during the time of year I need it most.
