Would RecommendAfter the brutal Winter we had, we had our contractor run the wire along the gutters and the valleys of our roof. Melted the snow and kept the ice from daming up under the roof shingles.

Would Not RecommendPurchased after an ice dam started forming on the roof. Although not the ideal time to install it, it did start melting through the ice and eventually down to the shingle. Bad news is it stopped working after less than a month in place.

Would RecommendI bought three, one 200 footer and two 30 footers. The 200 footer and one 30 footer work as promised. One 30 footer, after installing, failed to work and as it's up very high and now buried in snow, I won't be returning it until spring.
