Ratings & Reviews for DuroMax Dual Fuel Inverter 9000 Starting / 7600 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Powerful, quieter than my old 5000w generator.

Broke the motor in and hardly any metal shavings on first oil change, being a mechanic I was pretty surprised. I had a little problem with the information board, left a comment on a Facebook add on a Sunday and Duromax contacted me immediately the next business day, they are shipping me a replacement part that I can replace myself instead of taking the generator to a certified repair center, thank you so much for that! All is resolved, excellent customer service and support!!! The generator is r...

Duromax XP9000iH

I purchased this a month ago. Just came yesterday. Nice looking generator. Looks well built and hopefully will last a long time. It doesn’t come with oil and I don’t have any on hand, so will have to wait for a trip to town before starting it. It having 7000 running watts, I expect it to run all necessary items during power outages.

Timer not working correctly.

Breaking unit in, ran it for an hour and a half, session and total time working correctly 1.5 hours for session, 1 hour for total time. Turned the unit off and then back on, both timers reset to 0. The session timer should reset to 0 the total time should had shown 1 hour but reads 0000 hours. This is unacceptable for the price it is.

PROMPT DELIVERY

Prompt delivery: EGD provided prompt delivery and excellent tracking. I plan to run this as a stand-by generator connected to home via manual transfer breaker panel (not wired yet) so the Durolast generator has not been fully commissioned yet. The inverter (clean AC power) and the dual fuel (propane!) are very important features for me regarding the XP9000iH. No other product comes close from my perspective.

Great emergency generator

I purchased this generator about two years ago to keep the electric on. My wife requires oxygen 24/7 we need electric to keep the oxygen concentrator running. This is our third generator and by far the best. It is easy to start on propane or gasoline, also very quiet. With the ability to run it on both types of fuel we can go for days without worry. I have the generator tied to a transfer switch, which makes it easy to switch over to the generator when needed.

Easy to operate and moved around

I bought this last year and I'm so happy with my decision work great I use it on my job sites and home outdoor activities.

Good home backup inverter generator

This replaces a 9kw regular generator with high THD. Unit starts easy and runs smooth. It's much quieter than the 9kw regular generator. I find no instructions in the Owner's Manual for converting from bonded neutral to a floating neutral (connecting to a home electric panel using a mechanical interlock). Also, there are no instructions in the Owner's Manual on how to remove the lower air filter clip. There is just no room to unlock the clip.

It takes two

The first generator from DuroMax was DOA. The second one seems to run well.

Excellent product and service

XP9000iH First Impressions

Received my new XP9000iH generator 2/12/23. I did the first time setup on it including 2 oil changes on the first day. It fired right up on the first button push on Gas. It took a couple of times to start on Propane. After the second oil change, I loaded it to 75% of rated running wattage, ran like a champ for an hour, no problem. I am very happy with the quality and functionality. Waiting on a power failure now. The only problem, the included funnel was broken, I guess during packing, th...

2nd Duromax Generator

I owned a 5500 Dual Fuel generator as a home back up, But could not use it anymore because of the sensitive electronics in the furnace etc. So I upgraded to the XP9000IH My First impression is it is built very well and it it quiet. I haven’t had to use it for home back up yet but I am Sure this beast will do fine. I plugged a 1500 watt heat gun into it and it didn’t even change the idle.

Money well spent

Replaced 25 yr. old generator, which worked fine, but this machine is a significant upgrade. With about 12 hours on brand new machine, the inverter power runs appliances (computers/microwave/pellet stove/heat pump) as thou connected to commercial power. Duel fuel unit, but my experience with LP...,sips fuel, is quiet, can be remote operated (if desired),and easy to operate. I had an issue with the first unit delivered that was immediately handled swiftly and professionally to my satisfaction...w...

Quiet & Powerful

Just received our new XP 9000 IH dual fuel unit. It's exactly what we need to power our Florida home.

Just what we need

Just purchased . started right up on propane. have not tried gas yet. Quiet!!--well insulated enclosure. looking forward to great things from this generator!

Very Happy so far!

After a ton of research, I upgraded to an inverter and settled on the Duromax XP9000IH. This model had great reviews and features and the price point was fair. I'm very happy with the quality of the build and although I haven't had to use it much yet, the manual/setup were great and it purrs like a kitten. Great warranty too!

Every thing I wanted

Bought the 9000 inverter a month ago thinking I probably would never use it. I was wrong as the power went out yesterday! Glad to have it! Works great!

Very Versatile Piece of Equipment

My wife and I just purchased the DuroMax XP9000iH generator and are amazed at the number of hook-ups this machine has. The fact that you can use both propane and gasoline is great. Having a CO2 alert built in is a plus. I especially like the digital gauges that give real-time readings to know how the generator is operating. You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into the design of this generator. The quality is such that we can have confidence this generator is going to last a long time and...
