13000 Watt Tri Fuel Review

I purchased this generator a few years ago. Since purchasing it we have had around 4 or 5 power outages. 2 03 of them were for several hours. The generator powered the whole house with no issues. I would highly recommend this generator. We use natural gas, but is great to know we have the other options if needed

Good Machine but,

I purchased this Generator to power my home in the event of a power outage. We live in Fl and in the past 4 years we have gone through two hurricanes with flooding and power outages. This generator appeared to be perfect for our needs. The "Tri Fuel" feature was the answer to our problems and here is the "BUT!" The fuel selector valve is the reason why I would not buy this product if I could do it again. You'll be able to run the Generator on Gasoline once or twice and then it won't start again,...

This generator is a beast!

Installed a 50-amp 10 circuit Transfer Switch. Hooked up the generator to natural gas and the transfer switch. Hit start and the generator came to life. It powered up all 10circuits and everything on those circuits without a stutter or hesitation.

Just need Power to go out!

I have owned several generators over past 30 years. My last was a Westinghouse tri fuel rated at 12,500W gas, 9000 Nat Gas. I liked the longer warranty with DuroMax and improved Nat Gas rating. Wanted copper windings for longer life, reliability. I was a little dissapointed that there is no battery charger port or even included plug in adapter, but I will add my own to be sure the starter battery is ready when I need it.

Great Generator!!

Bought this for Hurricane season and fortunately haven't had to use it yet outside of the break-in period. Setup was quick and easy and I had no issues during the break-in. I was able to power all the necessities in my house when testing it out.

I use this generator as a home backup generator it operates smoothly and provides power to run our entire house once the cords are run and the panel is switched.

Works well after hurricane

This works really well after the power goes out. Used mostly for after a hurricane and it still runs years later. Happy with the purchase. Helps run the whole our with 3 phase.

Haven't used it enough to give 5 stars. Starts right up and runs good. A little louder than I want but the price is right.

Prather Portable Power

I purchased the 13,000 watt Tri Fuel HXT generator during the Texas emergency preparedness tax free weekend along with a cover. It is a very well built machine that I hope that emergency use is limited but, I feel confident that it will be more than what I need when it is needed.

Best generator brand on the market!!

I bought my 13000HXT about a year and have ago and it’s never let me down. I’ve ran my whole on it for several days and it ran like a champ!!! I would definitely recommend this brand

Works but.....

Bought this to power my home in outages. Looks great, assembles easily but watch out for reliability. It operated fine the first time I used it but when I tried to fire it up the second time it started then immediately turned itself off. After much back and forth with support they determined that the CO sensor was at fault and sent a new one. I installed itand the generator worked fine the next time I used it. Just checked on it a week ago though and back to the same startpup band shutdown behav...

Powered a whole house for two weeks straight

I bought the XP13000HXT tri-fuel right before an ice storm hit. As it turned out I never needed it myself, but a friend lost power so I handed it over and it ran their house for two full weeks. Hurricane ready!

Fuel this tri fuel is a workhorse. We have natural gas at the restaurant. We’ve been able to run after two hurricanes, and I have propane at home that we used at our house after a tropical storm took out a light pole. It’s time that time of year to run it again and light it up looking forward to buying an inverter possibly this year as well.
