I keep houseplants and having saucers that bend/buckle under the weight of ghe plant gets frustrating. So far it has worked great! My only issue would be the ridges on the bottom of the plate, it's not a perfect smooth surface for the planter I had on it, so definitely would recommend a larger planter so your plant doesn't topple like mine did.
