I bought this 7 years ago with the mobile stand. I’ve used it for anything from rough framing to cabinetry. The light that casts the blade shadow for cut guide can be seen clearly and lets me make precise cuts no matter what blade I have on it. I highly recommend this tool.

6 bad saws out of the box
Would Not Recommend6 brand new saws bad right out of the box. SIX!! First had guide rail issues - pitting / rusting and as you’d expect, very rough sliding action. The last 5 all had bad main hinge pins. 3 were so bad they rattled and even the 72 year old Lowe’s employee said “oh my gosh I can even hear it!” Dewalt legendary quality seems to be a thing of the past. These issues appear to be common place now after researching online.

Would RecommendI have had this miter saw for a while now. Very accurate and durable. Cuts a variety of materials, wood, plastic and aluminum. I have been very pleased with this tool. If I find a fault , it would be the weight.

bought this as a last ditch effort to stay corded as DeWalts wants the world to be dependant on figgen batteries athat over time require replacement, despite the enviromental damage all these batteries have.
