Wish we could use it....

We purchased this miter saw for some immediate and upcoming projects since our last saw had just given up after 12 good years. Unfortunately, we are unable to use this at all. The blade screw is in so tight we are unable to loosen it at all. It is now completely stripped. So we now have to remove it from the stand (which had it's screws pretty tight as well), package it back up, and return to the store. Great Professional Miter Saw

I’m a finish carpenter and I use a chop saw all day long and this one is excellent. Great for hooking up a dust collection system to it, good clearance when cutting different materials, and lightweight compared to the older Dewalt miter saws. The only thing I don’t like about this saw is that the old ones have a hole to store the wrench in and the new ones don’t have that hole for some reason so I have to keep the wrench in a toolbox so I don’t lose it. Best Miter Saw for Beginners & Professionals

This is the first miter saw I’ve ever owned or used, but after doing a lot of research I chose the Dewalt DWS716. Now that I’ve used it I know I made the right decision to buy it! It’s simple to operate, and it’s simple to operate safely. This is the perfect miter saw for beginners and professionals! I highly recommend Dewalt products, including and especially this Dewalt miter saw. I’ve owned other products for DIY projects, but I now ONLY purchase Dewalt products.

Workhorse!

Used this saw to cut 4x4's, 2x10's, 2x4's. Built bed frames (2 Queen and 1 King). Built its own miter bench and my main work bench. Cuts great, true, has plenty of power to make the cuts i need.

LOVE it!

I build many different furniture and decor pieces. This saw out performs any other brand I've ever used and leaves such a clean cut! Easy to use and highly recommend.

No Cutline LED

Seems like a nice saw, but the description is incorrect: "Integrated Cutline LED work light system provides adjustment-free cut line indication for accuracy and visibility". It does not have this feature, and it was the reason I wanted this saw. Will be returning immediately.

a real work horse

The power is amazing. cuts 2 x 6 like butter. A value in my opinion.

This a great saw. Much better than the crappy Kobalt one I purchased perilously which developed a short in the switch.

Great saw, but does not have the LED work light.

This is a great saw! It does everything I need it to do. I took away 1 star because the product description says "Integrated Cutline LED work light system provides adjustment-free cut line indication for accuracy and visibility". I just copied and pasted this. This mitre saw DOES NOT have that light, and after searching, one cannot be added. This is disappointing.

Nice saw, disappointing clamp system

I have owned a few different miter saws over the years and the clamps are pretty standard that come with most saws. I decided to go for a nicer saw, thinking it would be the cadillac of saws and also wanted a double bevel. The saw has a nice smooth cut and I feel it is worth the money because I do feel safer operating it.
