Awesome Miter Saw!!!
Would RecommendAwesome Miter Saw. I begin looking miter saws last year and narrowed them down to this one as it was one of the best best rated miter saws. I didn't need the double-bevel as I wasn't going to be doing that much cutting, but it was exactly what I need to do my jobs around the house. It will be sitting on my miter saw table in my shed....KUDOS!!!!!

Would RecommendSetup was very easy. I previously had a 10” miter saw from another manufacturer. This 12” DeWalt had superior features including better hold down lock, higher and more substantial adjustable fence, board clamp with 4 locations to choose from and it had a better safety switch. I verified all angle cuts were set properly and needed no adjustments. Cuts are very smooth and it was easy to mount on my miter saw stand. Would RecommendMy last miter saw had a horrible fence so no cuts were right. I checked this one for square - dead on and straight! With a 12-inch blade, it cuts a 2x6 like a dream. I wish I had this one for the last two projects. Dewalt got it right.

Would RecommendBought this from Lowe’s on sale for $229.00. Straight out of the box I checked alignment of the fence on both sides of the blade. The fences were aligned perfectly and both were 90 degrees to the blade. I checked the preset 45’s and both were perfect without any modification. The bevel was also aligned perfectly at a 0 degrees to the table. Cut a few 2x4’s with the provided blade and both the saw and blade performed great with no tear out.
