Would RecommendAwesome miter saw with great quality. If you don’t need the sliding functionality, this is next in line.
Great little saw; my old version of this model lasted 15 years!

Stock blade
Would Not RecommendSeems like the blade they send with the saw is cheap. I had a much older saw 10" avanti blade and I used it for months and months and didn't have to replace the blade. I've used this dewalt 12 inch on this model and I've only used it for a couple of projects and it is dull as hell and ruining 90 dollar pieces of birch plywood. So now after only a couple of projects I have to go spend another 50 dollars on a new blade?
Great Saw!!

See my note on the vacuum bag.
Would RecommendGood so far. Dust vacuum bag does not work very well. But OK.

Dust Port is too small.
Would Not RecommendI just got this product, so I have nothing to say about how it works, but I can say that the size of the dust port is rather small and DeWalt offers no adapters for connecting the dust port to a standard size 2 1/2" shop vac. Maybe their 1 1/2" dust port connects to their small hoses on their vacuums, but there are so many larger hose shop vacs out there in the world that DeWalt needs to address this issue. Their national customer service line was useless and local stores haven't got a clue eith...

Great product
Would RecommendI haven’t even used it yet. But this seems like a good heavy duty product like most DeWalt products.

Amazing miter saw
Would RecommendI used this saw to cut all the lumber for my son's custom loft bed, and it was the best woodworking experience I've ever had. So much easier and more precise than using a circular saw or jig saw! With the being said, this is the only compound miter saw I've used, and any similar saw would likely work about the same, but I have zero complaints about this product. I wish i had bought it years sooner.
