Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT 12 -Amp Variable Speed Reciprocating Saw ( )

did I buy a refurb?!

I bought this several weeks ago and just unboxed and tested today. I have not actually used it while I debate whether to return it. It is dirty, with smears and what looks like exhaust scorch marks coming from the exhaust areas. Honestly it looks like a badly cleaned refurb. I was not offered an extended warranty at the store, and I'm not thrilled with having to go back there to return or exchange, but my luck is to have things die just past warranty, and this just doesn't feel like it's a n...

Simply the best!

The new design makes life a breeze the power and quality is always up to the highest standards built in the name beyond satisfied and will always buy DeWalt tools!

Awesome Saw!!!

The best saw I have ever used. The compact design is perfect and the saw cuts through the toughest jobs. Super pleased.

Lightweight and very easy to use.

Blade change is very easy. And multi positions for the blade , make work so much safer.

DEWALT 12 Amp Keyless Variable Speed Corded

SIMPLY AMAZING! This saw will do the Job and so much more...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Does the job

I'm no expert and it might be a little early to review since we have only bought it a few weeks ago but I have no complaints so far.

Compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned this for 5yrs. Used other models but this gets in between studs, cut at any angle and power. Used it in remodel , outside for fence, tree stumps. this is the most versatile saw.Far greater stability when in your hands because of the grip. love this saw.

Warranty replace one. Used second one twice

First one quit working after a few uses. Pulled trigger. Nothing. Warranty replaced. Second one. Used twice. Second time I noticed the variable speed wasn't working. Kept using it. Then it wouldn't shut off. Pulled plug. Tried plugging back in. Took off full power. Maybe third time's a charm...

awesome Saw!

for a corded unit, this one has more power than my battery powered units. It's compact though, and because the motor is at an angle, it's easier for me to hold and manipulate the cuts. great product. I would recommend to anyone needing dependable sawzaw.. especially for older guys like myself that needs the tool to do more of the work than I can.

Happy with this tool

Wanted the 20V compact but didn’t have in stock in my store. Went with the corded model, which obviously is less flexible, but still works perfectly. First used it to cut down a metal b-ball hoop. It’s sliced through the pole very easily.

Best saw ever

Very versatile, can change the blade direction and angle or replace the blades so easy. Great product

Great Purchase

Did an awesome job worth the money. Did what i bought it for

Dewalt Reciprocating Saw

Recently purchased this saw for some demo work around my newly purchased house and this thing is awesome! It has plenty of power and the versatility of being able to change blade position quickly and easily is a huge time saver. The angled design makes getting into tight spaces even easier and it’s comfortable to hold onto for continuous use.
