Would Recommendused this to drill holes in 1/4in steel to make hidden countertop brackets and this bit did great! I even drilled through two pieces of 3/8 that were welded together (so 3/4" of steel) and it ate through it. used cutting fluid and a drill press and together it all went much better than I anticipated

Would RecommendThe bit cut through a steel lintel above our bedroom window like butter. I would have preferred a hex base so that it meshed with my extension bit, but I was able to make it work and it did so like a charm.

Would RecommendI used this to drill through corrugated sheet metal and a trampoline leg support. It did a great job of going through the multiple layers and metals. It did snap in half but that was more user induced. I would purchase abi .
