Would RecommendNeeded a good tough bit to complete the project I had. This bit was a pleasant surprise! It made the metal I was working on yield with no problem. I will buy this type bit again.

All bits are not equal...
Would RecommendYou get what you pay for. This is a quality bit we used for predrilling oil pipe for sheetmetal. It outlasted all other bits.

Drilled through concrete well then I think I hit rebar in the subfloor so it stopped.

Used for sheet metal. Stayed sharp much longer than standard bit. Worth the few cents extra.

Dewalt titanium and cobalt bits break!
Would Not RecommendI have had 5 or 10 Dewalt titanium and cobalt bits just snap in half when using a 1/2" 120 volt electric drill. But these new Dewalt bits in sizes anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2" or 3/8" to 9/16" snap like a toothpick when in a bind. That's probably $45 to $80 worth of bits just in last 5 or 7 years that have broke just on diy jobs a...
