Would Not RecommendI Purchased theses cobalt drill bit to make several 3/8 size holes on my trucks lower frame to install side steps. I tapped and made smaller size holes but even that did not help. I was unsuccessful in making the holes.

Would Not RecommendAs you can see in the photo, the bit twisted and bent while drilling MY VERY FIRST HOLE with it! This wasn't in a drill press; I was using a hand-held drill, and my wrists are not that strong.

Would RecommendI bought this bit to drill through a hardened knife handle. TiN and high speed steel would not do it. This bit worked well and is still sharp enough to drill regular steel. A good buy!
