Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT 13-in W 15.0 -Amp Benchtop Planer

Nice machine but very expensive minimal use so far

Only used a handful of times, but seems to do a nice job so far. No snipe noticed and has a clean finish.

Great

Very happy with my DeWalt and it's nice knowing I have an extra set of blades when I got it for a great deal

Meet little machine.

Second one I have owned. They really do good work for the small shop.

Minimize sanding!

Great planer for any woodworker big or small shop! The blower keeps all the chips away from the planer. If you hate sanding rough cut/milled wood, you will love having a planer! It’s no wonder most woodworkers has one in their shop.

Solid

Been loving this so far, great to have a dependable planer for my small shop.

Useless Machine, Useless Company

Purchased in 2020, never fed correctly, used once and set aside to use my 35 year old Ryobi instead. Tried the Dewalt again on very light stock months later and after 5 minutes of 1/64" deep cut on simple 4" wide material, the motor sparked, smoked and simply burned-up. I unplugged and spent the next three years trying to get Dewalt to honor their warranty. Now, five years later, even with all the e-mail communication with Dewalt from within the early warranty period, I still have the useless...

Best planer on the market

Great product , boatloads of power typical top notch from Dewalt. Improvements , would have loved a spherical cutter head , and the dust port gets in the way .

Nice Planer But Very Poor Quality Control

I bought a DeWalt 735 planer at Lowe's for a project in early 2024. It ended up not being used at that time because we decided that the anticipated dimensional planing wasn't necessary. The planer then sat on my shop shelves until today, when I needed to use it for another project. Unfortunately, that didn't work out so well... Powered it on, circuit breaker on the unit immediately popped. Could not reset the circuit breaker. Even though the unit had never been used, the warranty period ha...

Great tool

Very easy to use with great results

Best in class

Most recommended by people who do woodwork regularly.

Great product - it needs a dust extractor

Excellent product, except for the way the chips are sprayed everywhere!

Worth it!

This was bought as an early birthday gift for my fiancé. He said he loves it! It's a cool piece of machine. It works as it should.

Out of box only installed one part to start using

First time to use a planner, Easy to use and planed board very smooth, has stop gauges not to cut the board down too far.

Great planer from a trustworthy brand

This is a solid planer with a lot of great features foe the price. Sturdily built and should run for a long time.
