simple to use and did the job

Innacurate description

This kit is described and shown with a hard case. Only a soft case is included.

excellent tool

I have never used a plate jointer before but i am starting to make tsbkes and need the jointer to glue multiple boards together. The biscuits sllow for perfect alignment of the boards when edge glueing. The tool is easy to use snd setup. It does not come with biscuits you have to buy those.

Easy to use

First time user of this type of tool. It was easy to set up and use. Made a cutting board for the wife and it came out fairly even.

No Hard Case

I never recommend anything that is not what you order. The picture on this sales items clearly shows a hard case and it does not come with the hard case, but a soft bag. And don't even try to "chat" with someone regarding on the website, because they can't answer any questions regarding orders, which makes that feature useless as well.

Works as advertised

I have purchased several DeWalt products over the years and I’ve been pretty happy with all of them. They perform as designed and for a DIYer that’s what I need my tools to do. I could go buy higher end tools but I see no need to. This joiner has plenty of power, it’s not cumbersome and it gets the job done. If you’re on the fence, get it. Use it and if it’s not performing as designed then return it. Simple.

I own,and run a very small furniture business, and this tool has made all the difference when it comes to making table tops!!! exact cuts every time. I would highly recommend this Biscuit joiner to anyone from the novice to pro! Hooking the dust port to a shop vac is a must! I have a feeling tables will be the next "best seller".

I have used this product on several projects and all have turned out amazing. Glad I pulled the trigger on this tool.

Solid unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually have the older version DW682. Comes in solid box and protections and holds well. Have had some issues with fine adjustments but overall it works well. Center guide mark is accurate. Always do a test before actual.

Easy to master

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when my daughter asked me to build her some tables. Now all of my relatives are after me for tables. The joiner is easy to master and using the Dewalt biscuits it secures boards together with ease. I got the Dewalt clamps in various sizes and just keep adding to my clamp collection as projects come up. Now my wife thinks I’m a furniture builder. My relatives brag that their table was hand made and this tool is my secret power!

PERFORMED AS EXPECTED

Best you can get!

I use this for picture frames, trim, and cabinetry. Thing tool has excellent power and cuts very clean. The dust bag works great too! It really gets most of the chips made which is nice and keeps the work clean. I have absolutely no complaints!

Awesome,once you fix the dust chute.

When I first used the tool I realized all adjustments were solid, the motor was powerful and the assembly was rock solid. However, I started to return it because the dust chute clogged very quickly and caused dust to be thrown up into my face. But, being the problem solver that I am I looked into the chute and noticed a piece of metal protruding down in the middle of the chute. Review Update

I bought this tool to do 22 large picture frames. The first one I brought home had some serious issues with the adjustable fence. I tried to make the needed adjustments to no avail. I decided to return it but really needed one so I bought another the same day I returned the other. I got it home and it was near perfect right out of the box. I am very happy with it.

Great product !

It took me about 15 minutes of usage to get the hang of this tool but once I did it does great at what it was designed to do. The joiner is well built and is easy to use.

Great product

This unit was rated best value by Fine Woodworking magazine. The “other big box store” had a better price but Lowe’s matched it. Used the joiner to build a coffee table top.
