Fairly easy to use. Makes accurate cuts, but as with most things, it gets getter with practice. The dust bag works well, but you can only make a few cuts before the shavings clog up the discharge chute to the bag. Overall a good tool to have!

Easier than I thought
Would RecommendAfter years of struggling with dowels I bought the DeWalt joiner. It's not cheap, but like most DeWalt tools I've used, it's a quality piece and does what its supposed to do.The joiner is relatively foolproof. I adjusted it to give me a bit (1mm) of "wiggle room" and the results were perfect. So much easier than dowling!
