Would RecommendEvery tool in my truck is black and yellow. Loyal customer for life. I know no matter what the job is I'm doing my Dewalt tools can handle it. As a small business owner I can't afford to deal with broken tools and I know its never an issue with Dewalt. My jigsaw never binds up or gets stuck, the blades last forever and there's plenty of torque.

Would Not RecommendIt will not cut a straight line. The blade runs out of the guide almost immediately and continues to bend out of square. I would never, NEVER recommend this tool to anyone. DO NOT BUY!!!
Blade tracking problems.
Would Not RecommendBought this about a year ago and have used it sparingly. Recently tried to cut some straight edges in 1/2 inch plywood with a straight guide. I get about 1 to 2 knches in and the blade pops out of the blade track causing the cut to veer toward the guide. Unsure why there is some much play but there is nothing I can find to tighten or alleviate the issue.

Would Not RecommendHave owned saw for several years, Cut light sheet metal to skin pontoon under deck, Worked good and used occasionally for wood projects, But now the blade Won't stay in the guide, Even straight cuts are impossible, Disappointed in the reliability of this saw.

Great cutting
Would RecommendBought jig to install doggie door. Read instructions then put it to work. It cut and handled easily and accurately. When I took it out of the box it seemed to be a bit heavy but in use it turned out to be needed and an advantage. One drawback it had only one blade (wood) enclosed. Should of had a metal also anticipating usage and giving customer a look see of what DeWalt has available. I have a successful project thanks to the DW317.
