What Customers Are Saying
The jigsaw is a powerful and precise tool, with many users praising its vibration-free operation, tight turning ability, and comfortable grip. It is described as durable and reliable, serving well over many projects. However, some users have experienced issues with the blade, including it becoming loose, falling out, or not staying aligned, causing inaccurate cuts. Visibility can also be obstructed by saw dust buildup. While capable when functioning properly, the blade and alignment problems reported by numerous customers are a significant drawback.

Good value for the money. A little harder to keep on line than my Bosch.

Did I get a bad one?
Would Not RecommendI had cut less than 10 feet of lumber and the blade quick release cam part and the blade fell out. I have other DeWalt tools and never had this kind of problem. Maybe I just got a bad one? Before the quick release feel apart it did great.
Some Nice Features That Don't Work Well
Would Not RecommendThis jigsaw has plenty of power to cut through 1-1/2" pressure treated stock with ease. The variable speed is great, it is comfortable in the hand and the quick change blade feature works well. But there are two features that really don't work well. The blade tilt is feature is great for cutting different stocks, but the detents on the selection lever do not hold it securely in place. As a result, when cutting 1-1/2" stock I had to hold the lever in position with one hand--not a very safe thing...
