This jigsaw is a workhorse with convenient features like a quick release and a variable speed trigger you will not be disappointed. I’m confident this jigsaw still be working when my sons is old Enough to do construction.

One Tough Accurate saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is when I realized how superior DeWALT tools were compared to cheaper power tools. For years I had a cheap jigsaw and it made sloppy cuts that were not square. I avoided using my jigsaw for this reason. I eventually bought this DeWALT and never looked back. Now I am pretty confident in my ability to use my jigsaw, and I know it is because of the quality of the tool.

Favorite tool for most every project!

Nice tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had for about 8 months, after I bought used a lot to cur sheet metal. handles quite well and does the job.

Worked fine until it didn't

I purchased this saw because I felt DeWalt was a good quality brand and the price was right. However, after using it for projects around the house for less than five hours (heaviest wood I cut was 2x4), the saw broke. I took it to a shop for repair-unfortunately it was out of warranty-and it took DeWalt FOUR MONTHS to ship replacement parts. Their repair parts support is horrible and I have been without a saw for that long. Sorry DeWalt, this is the last tool I'll buy from you.

Jigsaw

The Dewalt Jigsaw was a gift for my son-in-law's birthday. He is very pleased with it.

Good tool

Bought for doing door inserts. Works well. Only issue didn’t get contractor bag as shown.

Good visibility of the blade and fast cutting.Great for metal working.

Super Disappointment.

As DeWalt is my favorite brand of power tools, I was sadly disappointed when I used my new DeWalt jigsaw. I did not know that it had settings which allowed the saw to move in a rotating direction as well as up and down as jigsaws normally do. When I set the blade on Zero so the rotation was supposedly nullified, the blade still moved forward and would not stay seated in the guide. It works okay. I wish it was Made in America. The way I could say I am trying to Make America Great Again.

Not for U Shank blades!

The tool itself is impressive. It has more than enough power and heavy enough to be stable. One caveat: U Shank blades seem to fit and lock, but the blade will continually disengage from the saw. I switched to T Shank blades and did not have this problem. After burning out my Skil jigsaw I purchased this to finish cutting 3 of 4 arches through redwood 2" X 12" X 8' for a garden bridge. This saw and a new blade cut through the stock in no time.

Power Horse!

This little jigsaw works very very well. It's powerful and gets the job done in no time. Very pleased with my purchase.
