Would RecommendChristmas gift for my son, my husband has one and loves it.
Good, but not much better.
Would RecommendMarginal power increase, but the weight increase over other models isn't in proportion to the power increase. Like the soft start.
Great tool that does what you need it for.
Would RecommendGreat tool and exactly what you would expect from a cordless reciprocating saw. It is a bit cumbersome if you attempt to handle it one handed, but overall a quality tool that keeps you from having to plug something in.
A definite upgrade
Would RecommendThe saw is heavy and well made. My previous cordless recipricating saw was a workhorse in the shop and the yard but the line was discontinued and the batteries aren't made anymore. I picked this saw up as a Lowe's free bare tool addon to another Dewalt kit. The Power Detect feature sounded pretty interesting but took a little bit of research to understand. Worth every penny plus more
Would RecommendOverall the reciprocating saw has enough power for any job you need it for
Heavy saws all
Would RecommendThis saw is as powerful as the corded version and the 8 ah battery lasts at least 10 minutes of continuous use. The only down side I see is it is as heavy or heavier as the corded saw.
Well built.
Works great. Cordless is fantastic for tight places where the leash of a cord hinders work.
Strong and mighty
Would RecommendHas some great power and very durable. Has some heft to it so you don’t have to push hard on things so is very agile also.
Good saw
Would RecommendI used this to cut fences that were blown by the storm the other day. I did not have to deal with a cord, so I was happy. I will use an 8amp battery with this saw soon to see the difference between a 4amp and an 8amp. With a 4 amp battery, the saw was heavy, so I think it is not for ladies.
I finally have Dewalt -I feel like a REAL MAN now
Would RecommendReliable, powerful - can handle my misuse & abuse!
This is an excellent tool
Would RecommendI liked that it has a lot of power and is very useful for getting to the hard spots.
Use with bigger battery
Would RecommendA bit heavy but very powerful, great saw if combined with high output battery
A tool everyone should have
Excellent power can virtually cut through anything.
Solid, powerful, efficient
Would RecommendLove it. Very smooth cutting, does not jerk the material or me around.
This saw is on the heavy side. Only fault I find.
Would RecommendIt is the best reciprocating saw I have owned, corded or battery, hands down! It keeps cutting over & over, with ease.
