Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT XR 20-volt Max Variable Speed Brushless Cordless Reciprocating Saw ( Battery Not Included Charger Not Included )

Built and designed with longevity in mind.

Reliable, Powerful, and durable. Like past Dewalt products, this newer version doesn’t disappoint. As a bonus, aftermarket batteries can be had to replace the ancient ones that are just starting to fail on me (we’re talking 10yrs of regular use, residentially, and they literally just starting to fall apart). Love having these in my garage along side their yard equipment which all uses the same batteries.

Good tool.

It’s solid so far but you can’t change the cutting direction like you can in other models.

Great Recip Saw

Wow, a recip saw at your finger tips, useful and powerfull

Great Saw

Great saw that portable and no cord to worry about

Great tools

Dewalt tools are always reliable. I use them everyday for my job.

Store pick up has a long wait but good service.

You simply can never go wrong when you choose DeWalt.

Great product

Ordered this item near Christmas time and it came very quickly. Great saw to work with and it's so great not having to deal with a cord

easy usage and portable

The tool is great for cutting tree branches and easy to use.

Powerful saw

Bought this for home projects. The first project was installing a new kitchen sink. The saw has tremendous power and cut through wood and tile effortlessly. While Dewalt tools are generally more expensive, my conclusion thus far is you get what you pay for and I recommend this tool!

Buttery smooth cuts through any home surface

Product cuts through things like butter. Thus far, been using it with diablo blades to cut up large tree branches and bushes, as well as chop up some old cabinets into pieces for more compact disposal. The light on the front is great, super bright and directs light to exactly where you need it. Was able to continue chopping safely in the pitch dark winter afternoon. The guide rail works great to keep smooth operation no matter what angle I tackle a project from. Able to keep it tightly presse...

Long battery life

Works great. Like the brand Dewalt. Long battery life.

get a power boost without a 60V battery

XR Power Detect is a great way to get a power boost without leaving the 20V Max platform. Simply by using an 8.0Ah battery, you get a big power boost. The saw works great with any 20V max pack, even the 2.0Ah for quick jobs where the lighter-weight battery is more convenient. The saw doesn't feel underpowered, but there is a noticeable change when you get to the 8.0Ah.

Good saw

Good quality, solid build. Works great and batteries last quite a while with use. Only complaint is this is much wider than my old 18v, so it doesn't fit in my "Dewalt Drawer" in my tool chest. About .75" wider than old 18v saw was. A lot heavier too, making one-hand use near impossible. That said, still a great saw and the battery life is noticeable improvement over brush-based saw.

great saw no cords required

The saw is very compact and powerful especially with the 8 amp hour battery

Easy purchase, great price!

Easy purchase, great price. Dewalt is a favorite brand and has always served me well.

Heavy Duty Yup

Awesome. Heavy Duty. Amazing runtime with 8ah battery. Gets down with the sickness, UH UH

Keyless Reciprocating Saw Cordless Brushless

This reciprocating saw is cordless and brushless. Uses keyless tap to quickly change saw bit without the need of use for a key to unlock and lock saw bit. Brushless features maintains the tool much cooler and does not overheat. Brushless feature also makes the tool lightweight compare to previous reciprocating saw models. I use a 5 Ah battery with this saw and makes the job easier that lasts throughout the day.

Dewalt tools good so far

I bought this for work, and I’ve already used it. It is heavy duty for sure, and has performed well.

Not made in the usa

Plenty of power light weight seems be a good tool down fall not made in the usa
