Most useful tool on jobsite and around house. Can be used to do a lot of different cutting and cits metal to wood to nails in wood. Plastic. I use to cut pipe for irritation to demolition to cutting rebare to length and trimming trees. Also cutting roots out of holes and trenches. A must have.

Strong reciprocating saw for heavy duty pruning.

Bought this reciprocating saw recently to cut down small trees and bushes around our 38k sf building. Very strong and efficient, recommend carbide blades.

easy to use

I bought this saw about 2 years ago and have used it a few times around the house has had up well . Easy to change blades and use Love Dewalt tolls planning to purchase a grinder and a oscillating tool

You need this saw

This saw has done me well with my wood projects. Used this to do home repair/renovation, and building my deck. This saw has a great balance of power and stability to make easy cuts. Definite buy.

Excellent saw, well made and powerful.

I’ve had this saw about a year and have used it for many different projects. It has excellent power. Although, being a woman it is a little heavy, but not so much as to be unmanageable. I’ve found it to be well made, durable and easy to load the blades. I’ve never had any problems with the performance of the tool. It’s an excellent saw for the price.

Effective at tree stub cutoffs

Of course the blades wear quickly, but cheaper than the chain saw route.

It cut stuff with the pull of my index finger. The temps were around -5 degrees Fahrenheit so that played a part in a decreased battery life.

I have the batteries for other tools.

Replacement for cord saw. I wanted a saw with variable speed.

A cordless saw that’s ready to work.

Built like a tank. Extremely stout for a battery powered saw. This could replace my corded saw for 99% of my uses. I had smoke rolling off of a lesser saw so I upgraded to this one. It never even got warm and it makes far more power then you might expect from a battery saw.

Robust Sawzall

Product is a tough, heavy duty tool. Used it for clearing underbrush where a chainsaw was overkill, or inappropriate due to safety concerns, or where the chainsaw blade would have been ruined by contact with the ground or dirt. Also used it to limb trees once fallen, and to prepare for the burn pile. Used 4 and 6 Ah batteries; both lasted well over 2 hours with fairly sustained use—the 4Ah reduces weight and bulk of combined battery and tool.

I bought the saw on the second use after one week of the purchase broke down when I went back to replace or return they told me we can’t help file a claim with dewalt the company that never answers or call you back only automated system that sucks
