What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this work light for its exceptional brightness, delivering 5,000 lumens to illuminate large areas like garages and job sites. The rugged construction and versatile mounting options—including hooks and 360-degree positioning—earn consistent approval. Most appreciate the app control for remote brightness adjustment. However, some report rapid battery drain on highest settings, and a notable group expresses frustration over misleading tripod compatibility claims, with many finding no actual mounting holes despite packaging suggestions. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider it a powerful, durable solution for demanding work environments.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this light about a month ago. The area light has been a great tool for almost all indoor jobs. Has several great features such as the eco mode. Light has great run time on 20v batteries. Extremely bright white light on highest setting. All 3 brightness settings have there place on the job site. A great plus is the tool connect option. No need to go to the light and change settings, just do it right from phone. Light comes with 2 easy...

Must have!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once again Dewalt did it! I can’t get over how bright this light is. The best part is you can adjust the brightness. Dewalt built this light with durability in mind and the hook on the bottom is brilliant. I would consider this light for construction automotive or just around the house. I was able to hang the light from my hood latch on my truck and it light the entire engine bay with no dark spots.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the All Purpose Cordless Work Light. I used in my garage and it lit the entire place up! It’s awesome that it uses the same Dewalt battery that I use with my drill. Thanks Dewalt for letting me sample this sweet tool.

Great light!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This work light is very bright and it’s bluetooth feature is great. The app makes it very easy to turn the light off and on from a distance and check the battery level. The folding hook attachment on the bottom makes it very easy to hang from rafters. Overall a great light to have.

Bright Light
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is bright. The Bluetooth control feature is almost a necessity. It is almost too bright to turn on at the switch. Connecting and control with the Tool Connect app was simple and intuitive. Illuminates the work area very well from floor, tripod, or overhung positions. My only complaint, and it’s minor, no plug so it can be used as a corded light. Perhaps another model is on the way with a cord and possibly a speaker?

Awesome temporary lighting soluti
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working currently on some new lighting in a very dark warehouse when we power down the 480v feeds to the lights.. We are using this on the lift up at 30’ while we rework the old T5 High-bays to new Programable LED high bay fixtures. Works awesome and I like the fact I can drop down the light output to conserve battery run time. Highly recommended by me. Gonna keep this away from greedy paws.

Great area light
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome light and very bright at 5000 lumens. Its nice to just put on a scissor lift and light up the whole work area without taking up much space. Also has a rafter hook which is really cool. Also has the tool connect feature which can be used to operate the light from my phone and can fine tune the brightness more. Overall just a great light in a pretty compact size.
