Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT 20-volt max 5000 -Lumens LED Battery Rechargeable Portable Work Light
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this work light for its exceptional brightness, delivering 5,000 lumens to illuminate large areas like garages and job sites. The rugged construction and versatile mounting options—including hooks and 360-degree positioning—earn consistent approval. Most appreciate the app control for remote brightness adjustment. However, some report rapid battery drain on highest settings, and a notable group expresses frustration over misleading tripod compatibility claims, with many finding no actual mounting holes despite packaging suggestions. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider it a powerful, durable solution for demanding work environments.

Would Not RecommendThis is a great light, but Dewalt really missed with not making it capable of charging a battery while running off power cord. Other than that it works really well and is bright, which is what you want in a light.

Great lighting and well protected housing
Unfortunately working at a customer house and they lost power and was able to run to a store to purchase this light and was able to complete the work in the house and very convenient and great lighting, only complaint i have is which it had the option for plug in a extension cord instead of using the battery.

Stevie wonder said it was not very bright.
Would RecommendNice light. The first store I went in only had the display one left. I said I would be happy to buy it, but the employee said they could not sell it because then they would not have one to display.

DeWalt dropped the ball
Would RecommendThis light is very bright, but, DeWalt really dropped the ball on this one. There should be an option to plug it in using an extension cord. I have the 20 volt little fan and it has this option. So I know it can be done. Be advised, It eats up the smaller batteries so have a larger 8 amp hour on hand for longer life.
All purpose light
Would RecommendWorks great on my 9ft bosch tripod. The connect app can be used as a dimmer to fine tune the brightness. Can be used for nearly any lighting purpose.

Would RecommendLight is great-really makes working in locations without power easy but tool connect is not working

Awesome
Would RecommendThe light has a low, medium, high switch, but the connect tool app can be used as a dimmer to fine tune the brightness. Can be dimmed lower than the switch low setting. Excellent light.
