Good kit for the weekend warrior!!!

I bought this kit after purchasing a new home. I've dealt with power tools my whole life and this kit is perfect for someone looking to get a lot of items at once the price point. They have better drills in their lineup but I liked the compact but 20v size of this one. I've used the whole kit in the past couple of weeks with no problems. Battery charger

I've read several reviews about battery to charger connection. Make sure to pop the battery into the connection rather than just sit it on top of the charger. It snaps in and if you don't do this it may light up like it's charged but won't actually be charging. It took me a bit to figure it out too. Yes the radio is not a tool. You can plug it in if you don't want to waste a battery or you may simply buy extra batteries. These tools are all great!

I don't refer to a blue tooth speaker as a tool for that I give it a rating of 3-4 stars. Everything else is great.

Great tools

I bought this set to move up from my older 18v dewalt tools. I couldn't be happier. I have abused these building a new deck and pool shed. All have worked flawlessly. I even dropped the driver in my pool, and it still works great. I have purchased several of the larger capacity batteries for the circular saw and the recip. saw as the small batteries don't last long enough.

Speaker doesn't charge batteries

I got the kit home and was really excited about my new purcahase until I realized that the speaker is not used to charge batteries. It's just a blue tooth speaker. I find this one tool absolutely useless and should not even be considered a 6th tool. I personally would never waste one of my batteries listening to a speaker on the job site. I haven't used the kit yet, but I am so disappointed In this speaker that I can't give the kit more than 3 stars yet.

6 Tool Set

Purchased this set last week and drove 90 miles to do a job. Happy with the product until I discovered one of the batteries wouldn't take a charge, also the connection of the battery to charger seemed marginal. Going to return the unit tomorrow and look for a different brand. Not much faith in Dewalt's quality, don't believe I'll purchase their products again. Now I know why they ask if you'd like the extended warranty during check out.
