Would Not RecommendOut of the box the impact worked but the counter-clockwise direction (loosening) only works for a split second and I have to keep pressing the trigger over and over to loosen the bolt/nut. The clockwise direction (tightening) works as it should. I don't use it much and forgot to return it within the 90 day window so now I'm stuck with it.

Amazing tool - missing one feature
Has been a great tool to our shop. Pretty compact and a lot of power behind it. I just wish that it could limit torque for reverse as it does forward. That's the only thing stopping it from being a 5 star tool.

Would Not RecommendI used this on ATV axle. Fresh 5ah battery. On setting 1 it was about 20 ft lbs, setting 2 was 40 ft lbs and setting 3 about 65ft lbs. After each setting I back the nut off using my torque wrench. I then retighten the nut to 20, 40 and 65 ft lbs to see if the Dewalt could advanced the nut further. It could not. Unless there is some hidden switch I haven't found there is no way its anywhere near the advertised settings. Pretty weak unit. Ill stick to my air impacts. I bought it for on the r...

Didn’t expect this
Would Not RecommendUpon opening the box, the first thing I noticed is some movement inside the tool. Not just a small rattle like something was broken, but the entire motor, hammer mechanism, and anvil assembly was rocking. I shook the tool and moved the anvil by hand, there was a definite play in all directions with the internal assembly. Another thing I noticed is some yellow speckles on the rubber molding.. Bad production line and QA inspection? This gives me little faith that the tool will last.
