I'm on my 2nd one that's broken now, my first one last 3 days I think then started cutting out when impacting after a couple seconds, this one now I've had for 5 months probably and it started doing the same thing now, tried cleaning the contacts and different batteries but nothing, there must be some defect with them why they keep dying, never had a name brand tool be this unreliable before.

Would Not RecommendFailed after 11 months. Only used for changing tires on cars. Nothing excessive. Lowes store where I purchased refused to take it back for exchange. Said to go to the Manufacturer. Not sure what's more disappointing, the store or the Dewalt tool. Right now I'm leaning towards the store and the management team there.

Would RecommendWas hesitant to get a battery powered impact wrench as the last one I had used NiCd (Nickel-cadmium) and would struggle to take off lug nuts. This one really surprised me when I went to take some lug nuts off and they just whizzed right off without hesitation. Even without the higher capacity battery pack, this thing still packs a punch!
