Definitely worth the price!

We're redoing our deck and I had a Craftsman Right-Angle Impact driver that works great, but it just couldn't handle the job to remove the screws out of the decking. Plus, it uses a 12V lith-io battery. Knowing the quality of DeWalt products, this is what I ended up purchasing and it doesn't disappoint. It comes with a sturdy case, 2x20v lith-io batteries and a charger. This tool is very powerful in what it can do and I highly recommend it.

20v dewalt xr impact

I bought this impact about a year and half ago or so and I was using it today and it made a popping noise and blew a flame out of the top and the started smoking and ruined my battery to has anyone had this problem I've got about 20 to 30 dewalt cordless and corded tools now I'm worried about the rest of them

FAILED CLUTCH

I am a big supporter of Dewalt products but was disappointed in this drill. After only driving a few screws the clutch failed . Motor turned but not the driver! Warranty support was great and just received a replacement drill today. Hopefully it holds up to the Dewalt reputation.

CHARGER PROBLEMS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HAD IT FOR ABOUT A MONTH, USED IT ONE DAY BUILDING MY MOM A DECK....WORKED FINE...CHARGED BATTERIES LIKE NORMAL, BUT THE NEXT DAY IT WOULD NOT CHARGE EITHER BATTERY...HAD TO USE A REGULAR DRILL...VERY DISAPPOINTED.....I NEEDED THE POWER OF AN IMPACT BUT STRUGGLED FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS....I BOUGHT THIS AS A FATHERS DAY GIFT FOR MYSELF.....I HOPE DEWALT MAKES IT RIGHT

Great Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my boyfriend to replace one that was stolen off the job site.He does concrete and sets forms and won't use any other drill to do it. He said the brushless motor is great as well as the power, and he loves that it has 3 speeds. He wanted this with the Bluetooth option but we weren't able to find the 3 speed XR with the Bluetooth option. When will you guys be making that model DeWalt?

Steady and sturdy

all day abuse

Great tool lots of power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this back in November and have used it on everything from major woodworking projects to light automotive work. For the most part this tool had more than enough power to get the job done. The only instance when it need more power was when I was trying to break loose some nuts on my truck. It eventually got the job done but next time I will be using an impact wrench instead.

Great American made tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When replacing my aging NiCad tools, I looked into American made tools. Luckily I came access the Dewalt DCF887. This tough impact driver is perfect for all of my driving needs. Light enough where it won’t weigh you down and powerful enough to drive most any fastener. I only wish it came with a bigger battery. Not that the 2.0 A/h is bad, I would have liked a bigger battery to start. Not a big deal. Just me being greedy.

20V MAX 1/4 inch Impact Driver Kit

drill driver is exceptional - dcf887

Great impact driver!
