Great Deal & Tool

Replaced my old impact driver with this baby while on sale. Lighter than my previous model but just as strong. Great price for the kit, including battery, during Christmas, so bought a 2nd one to replace my 12v. Use the small batteries primarily for my flashlights.

Perfect impact driver for everyday household DIY projects and ocassional heavy duty ones. It can handle anything because of the 20V battery and the brushless motor which can take the stress!

Dewalt vs Dewalt XR

Good Day All! Like to start by saying, that DeWalt is by fare the way to go! But as fare as the basic 20V max to the 20v max XR there are little to no defiance. The basic is what it is and will do the same job as the more expensive XR modals that have the same spec, for torque and durability. The XR modals do have some more Bells and Wessels than it counters part that are seldom used., but are nice for bragging rights. So if you are looking for a tool that will get it done or bragging rights...

Excellent driver

I bought this driver after years of being a porter cable fan and instantly fell in love. It has great torque and amazing speed.its very light and durable and the battery life is awesome and lasts quite a while ..all in all its a great product and I would recommend to anyone in the market regardless of what your level of knowledge is. Whether a low level diy,er or a construction foreman, this tool will satisfy your needs from building a toybox for your kids to building a house from the foundat...

Impact!

This impact drill is more than I expected it's kind of lots of power the battery lasts forever. And then I bought the drill bits to go with it I've yet to wear it out ...I love it

Reliable

Its a very durable impact for sure. Just doesnt have as much power as some other brands ive used. But definitely a well built reliable tool without a doubt.

Great tool at a great price

I love this tool and I use around the house. Also, I'm a mechanic and this tool is very useful for working on cars.

Product is good, Lowe's online description, wrong!

The Lowe's online description states it comes with a 1.5Ah 20V battery, but the battery pack is 1.3Ah only. I chose it over a Dewalt atomic variant from Lowe's competitor because of the battery description. Otherwise, Dewalt drill is awesome, Seabees personnel in my unit uses them a lot, and even the company that installed my overhead garage storage uses them and swears by it's performance. I hope Dewalt did not provide those description to Lowe's, then provide Lowe's with a different battery.

I bought this tool as well as others, and I gotta say I am impressed with Dewalt. I try to maintain it as much as I can so it doesn’t break down on me too soon!

Great impact

I just purchased this on june 1st 2020. Ive been using dewalt for some time, and they are my go to tools. I am a little disappointed that i paid full price on a 2018 model though.. i wasn't aware of that until i got home and was registering the product and seen the date..

Handy tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Building stud walls for 3 season DIY porch. Plenty of power to drive 21/2 and 3 inch screws. Much more effective then using drill with less stripping of screw heads. Should have bought unit years ago for DIY projects.

Great addition to my power tools

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this product in March while working on my deck. When I purchased my DeWalt drill in 2018 I declined to buy the combo kit that included the impact driver thinking "why do I need an impact driver and what can it do that a drill can't." Now I know. Had to removed over 20 boards from my deck and the drill just wasn't getting it done. But, the impact driver made it quick and easy – don't know how I lived without it. I'm definitely a beli...
