Great Screwdriver the shortest front to back.

Great Screwdriver the shortest front to back. Will hold 1" bits, making the 6-1/2" front to back good in tight spaces. I use this 12 volt screwdriver all the time with my wood projects. The tool has a LED and one handed bit release/insert.

Battery has good life, great for using in tight spaces and very usable torque.

I bought this because I'm always working on some type of project. This is light weight & easy to handle. The quick loading feature is a definite plus that saves time when you are swapping bits. 1 charge can last several hours. Great tool for the smaller jobs around the house.

12v Li-ion is a workhorse!

We use these drills overhead every day driving 1.5" screws into seasoned pine, which anyone who knows, that old pine can be very hard. I have never had one fail me. Cordless Drill

I wanted something light-weight that fit well in my (smallish female) hand. This drill is perfect. It has a lot of torque for a smaller drill.

Because of my age and health issues, the size and weight of this tool makes it so I go back to doing small projects.

Very handy tool

I wanted a small-ish power tool for a secondary tool bag. This DeWalt driver is excellent for driving screws, and had no trouble sinking 3-inch deck screws. Even better, it has a light enough touch for smaller tasks as well. It really isn't fast enough to replace an actual drill, but it will handle smaller tasks if you buy the quarter-inch shanks. Go To Driver

I have two of these and love them both. Why two, because the I soaked the first and shorted the trigger on my original. I bought the second, then found a trigger cheap on ;-) Keep in mind, they are drivers (screws nuts etc...) not drills or impacts.

Just fits your hand

Some might think 100 bucks for a 12V anything is expensive, but the quality is there, the accessories are good, and best of all it is a pleasure to use. I have large hands, and it still fits in my hand like someone did some serious ergonomic studies. If the batteries last like my 20V versions on a smaller scale - I'll be impressed. And the chargers are interchangeable! This is my go-to drill for all but the heaviest-duty drilling and driving projects. Love it.

Dewalt knows it's tools

I use this for trimming smoke and fire alarm devices. Works perfectly ever time and when you set it to the proper clutch settings. It's right on and tightens every screw with out ever stripping out anything.

This is an excellent drill driver. The DeWalt name can be relied upon for such quality, and this product lives up to that reputation. The heft and feel are good, its size is adequate and the overall quality and usability are great. Money well spent.
