Excellent, lightweight, strong, long battery life

This excellently designed lightweight, strong, screwdriver has a long battery life and a belt clip hanger that actually works. This IS a one hand bit changer and the 3 LED lights help with eliminating shadows while in use. The carry bag that came with it is functional and seems sturdy. Batteries recharge quickly. The only possible upgrade would be to make a two-speed version.

This is the second one of these I’ve purchased and I’m more than happy with the product.

This tool is perfectly balanced with an ideally ergonomic grip. Excellent battery life with plenty of power for light to medium duty jobs.

Great driver with much more power than I expected. Have used it on steel roofing project and it did a great job screwing it down. Dewalt did good on this one.

Can't wait until it breaks so I can throw it out

I bought this 8-10 months ago. Definitely less than 1 year. The bits CONSTANTLY fall out of this thing. Love being up on an extension just to come down and look for a bit that fell out. Extremely aggravating! If I used it more often I would run it over with my van so I would have to buy a new one. Otherwise it works ok, small and lightweight. I like DeWalt products but this one is absolutely horrible. I see you have to rate it on quality. Companies need to start leaving 0 stars as a choice. Som...

Great Tool

Excellent battery life. Variable speed makes working with it easy. Simple swap of sockets and extensions.

Easy to use and easy to handle.

I love this tool. It has a lot of power and versatility in a relatively light package. The bigger, more powerful drills are easier and harder for an older person like me to use for a long period of time. But this has all the power I need in its compact size.

Excellent Product

I had a Bosch for 15 years before the batteries went out I started looking and found the DeWalt I was pleased when I picked it up and the price was $25 cheaper than the Bosch. When I bought it home and tried it I was sure I had bought the right drill.

Great Household Tool

Of course this screwdriver doesn’t replace all your other tools. But if you want something that is light to use and covers about everything a home owner might need in a powered screw driver, then this thing is great. It backs a lot of punch for the price. For example, where doing some home repairs and are adding additional screws to the subfloor. We’ve been driving #10x2.5” screws for several days. Handier than expected

I didn't buy an electric screwdriver for a long time, thinking I'd just use my drill when I needed to. This driver is much lighter and speed control is much easier, so I ruin fewer screws using this. It is also lighter than I expected, and I wondered if I had just bought a toy. It is not the most powerful driver sold, but it is easy to use and powerful enough to use for framing a deck or house addition. It's a DeWalt product, so I expect it to last for a while.
