Delivers consistent beads of caulk

I needed to install lots of log cabin chink in 10 oz. tubes and this was the best way to do it in 10° weather.

Too fast

Although well built, the gun dispenses caulk way, way too fast. Even at the slowest speed on the control dial and barely squeezing the variable speed trigger, the dispensing rate is still generally too fast. I have returned the gun.

Saves your forearms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. Bought this to seal a greenhouse my wife and I built. Went through several cases of industrial caulk to seal the structure. Worked all day long on one battery without fail. Only 2 complaints. The drip free advertisement I’m not quite true. I often had an inch or more of caulk hanging out after running a seam. Makes a very efficient job of long projects

If it has one issue, its that its too fast even on its slowest speed in some applications. Otherwise, a snip to use. Push the release button above the trigger, pull the hook out, drop in cartridge, and you're off again. Has a trigger lock off too, so you can't squirt caulk accidentally. Automatic retract means no drips either. I put 12' of glue down in a minute !

I never thought I needed a 'power' caulk gun until I used one! Works great, no complaints with the tool. Smooth operation, not too heavy, the battery usage is conservative. My project was to fill in a step crack on a cinder block wall. I wanted to be able to really push the caulk into the crack. I worked great. I wish it had an adaptor for larger tubes of caulk, but I was not able to figure out which adaptor DeWalt suggests... WHY?... here is my complaint... the DeWalt website is vague, so I ca...

Getting Old

I have several things that need annual caulking, as well as other one-time projects. Unfortunately, as I have gotten older, I have also gotten arthritis, making it painful to pull the trigger on a manual caulking gun. While this tool is heavier than a manual caulking gun, it's ease of use made it much less painful to use on large caulking projects. I really appreciated the speed control, which enabled me to apply the caulk at my comfortable speed. I have read some complaints about the anti-drip ...

Pros, easy to use, common batterybplatform with other Dewalt cordless products. Easy load unload. Cons price but then again ita a Dewalk tool.

Timesaving Caulking Tool

This tool is such a timesaver when it comes to caulking a room. It works great.

It's pretty

it's a pretty caulk gun, but it has a pretty ugly learning curve. the caulk gun pull back feature isn't useful at all. it would be great if you were able to dial in the amount of pull back depending on the kind of caulk/adhesive you are using.
