Weak hammer function.
The hammer function of this drill was not strong enough to drill through the brick I was anchoring to. In my opinion the drill itself was made well and would be a good drill, but if you need the hammer drill function you are better off buying the more powerful and more expensive hammer that Dewalt offers at Lowes. I bought the more powerful hammer drill after I returned this one and had no problem drilling through brick and concrete.
