Great tool

I bought this new about 3 months ago to go with the 1/2” impact wrench that I already own. I am an auto mechanic and a cabinet maker on the side. This drill works great for steel drilling but is slightly overkill for cabinet work. I also rewired and plumed my 4700 sq foot shop for air electric, and water which involved a few hundred 2 inch self feed holes in 2x and several 6x6’s. Performed exceptionally in second gear!

Fantastic Power and torque!

I bought this hammerdrill mainly to use to mix mortar with a paddle in a 5-gallon bucket (have 50 - 80lb bags to mix). The wired Makita hammerdrill I was using could not handle the job and smoked itself after just two uses. Will never buy Makita again. The variable speed switch is smooth and having 3 different speed/torque settings is a real benefit. Look forward to using the hammer function someday. Highly recommend this tool!

Already had on just like it. Mostly bought it for the charger and two extra batteries. These things are tough!

Great drill and more!

I’ve had this drill for about 3 months and it’ has not let me down. My business is drywall framing and am constantly drilling through concrete and studs daily. So far I really like this drill it feels good in hand which is important for prolonged use . I most definitely would recommend this drill for daily construction use.

A reliable, durable and well built hammer drill. I bought this drill as a replacement for 18 volt predecessor that I used for almost 15years and is still working fine but I wanted the 20 volt because it its new features associated with the battery.

great tool , wobbly chuck

i purchased this BRAND NEW TOOL and had to send it back 6 times because of a WOBBLY CHUCK . when i received the last one i just decided to keep it but of course the chuck still wobbles and i realized its not going to get better . when you are trying to drill an 1/8 inch hole and it turns out to be 1/4 inch you know there is a problem . its a great tool except for the wobbly chuck . in conclusion if you are going to purchase this tool be prepared for a wobbly chuck . or maybe they gave me all the...

Great Purchase

I had purchased this kit after a long debate between Milwaukee equivalent to this model. I recently came across a K Drill ice auger for the right price and decided I could use a new cordless at home as well. While ice fishing here in Iowa, in 5* weather with a negative windchill, I used this drill to cut at least 20 holes through ice ranging from 7-12 inches. I bought this as a replacement for my old, 18v DeWalt hammer drill that finally quit after many years of hard use. I figured DeWalt had earned my repeat business with how well the old one held up. Initial impressions of the new one are very positive. I like having the light (old one didn't have that). Durable and powerful.

Just be careful with the chuck. It's metal and very abrasive when tightening.

Great Drill

Bought this as a supplement to my DeWalt Impact Driver and it works great. Haven't hammer drilled with it yet, but appears to work great on all other fronts. Love the bright light in handle, and the extra large batteries.

Best Drill

This Drill is by far the best. Gets the job done everytime.

Very strong drill

Drill is very strong. I don't think there's many bolts that this drill can't loosen aka:car wheels or big bolts that need to hold substantial weight. Hammer drill is extremely efficient and will drill through masonry like a drill through pinewood.
