Best quality drill I have owned
Would RecommendUntil this I had been using an old Porter Cable 18V. All I can say is that this drill is in a different world. This drill weighs less and has substantially more power. The Dewalt quality fees like a high quality tool should feel. It seems built like a tank and should last me many projects.

Would RecommendThis is a well made, powerful drill/driver that is very comfortable in the hand. It's solid, but not too heavy, the controls are convenient and easy to use. As soon as I got it, I charged one battery fully, went out in the garage and drilled about sixty 1/2" holes through a scrap piece of 4X4 with a twist drill one after the other. the chucks suck
Would Not RecommendI have had my Dewalt 20v max /XR for 4 years. I love the feel and weight of it. I use mine daily in my shop. I have noticed chuck issue from time to time. well now it will not release a drill bit no matter what you do. you think stuff would last longer when you pay few hundred bucks for name brand. Or you get better warranty for normal wear and tear. being a small business have tools break can cause a big impact. Now I have to go and buy a new drill as this one is screwed, Man it sucks.

Powerful but light and balanced
Would RecommendI love the low gear option. It has a lot of torque for a tool this light. The drill feels balanced in my hand. The two amp batteries pack a lot of power, but heavy use drains them sooner than I thought. I just put it in a fully charged one and kept on going. The charge indicating features are great. The light focused on the drill location is a good addition.
