Chuck stopped engaging

Bought this for the random cases I needed to drill in tight spaces. I used it only a few times and then the check started acting up. Most of the time after I release the trigger the chuck disengages from the drive gear and I have to push it back in before it will work again.

Dont waste your money

Burned up in a couple of hour's complete garbage tool. On a positive note lowes gave me my money back. Trying the Kobalt product now.

GREAT TOOL

I BOUGHT THIS TO GET INTO SMALLER SPACES AND NOW USE IT FOR ALMOST ALL TASK THAT REQUIRE DRILLING AND DRIVING IN SCREWS. ITS LIGHT AND VERY POWERFUL

This is a very good tool to have especially when you are working in a tight spot.

Great

It is handy, i bought it for 1 hole i needed in a tight space. In about a week i have already used it about 10 times. I like the 2 different speeds which are easy to switch

Side angle drill

To me it can be used left or right. I experienced a situation where I could not get the regular drill I had to drill straight. It was kind of tight. I remembered the Dewalt angle cordless drill I just recently purchased. It worked great and had just enough room to use it to drill straight. Came in handy when I needed it.

Right Angle Drill

I was drilling through a 2x4 with a 3/4” hole hog bit. This drill just smoked sparked & died almost instantly. Figured maybe just got a bad one. Returned it & got another. Didn’t smoke like the 1st one but was definitely struggling. If you’re looking for something for hard work stay away! If you’re just zipping a couple screws in it’s probably fine.

I choose to use Dewalt and Had a task that I needed a right angle drill for so I purchased this one and it is a very nice piece of equipment I love Dewalt and I use many many tools of theirs

This thing can really drive it home! I was skeptical to buy this item at first but then I thought let’s go for it. This is been the best tool I could imagine. I can barely wait to hold it in my hands every day and use it on every task

Excellent Right-Angle Drill. Reasonably Priced

Like all DeWalt products it appears over-built and likely to last you a lifetime without fail. A must if you already own a DeWalt 20Volt product(s). Strong motor, great hand-feel.

Burned up on first use.

The first time I used this the motor burned out. I was only drilling a small piece of metal and it started smoking and died. Maybe just a bad one but I would avoid.

We use several of Dewalt products and they have lasting use as well as great warranty.

This right angle drill appears to be very well made. I have used it for about 70 holes so far and have had no issue. It has plenty of torque for what i bought it for ( drilling holes inside cases). If there was one thing i could falt it for would be driving screws because of the amount of torque it is very easy to stripba wood screw. I have read some reviews about it not having enough power for drilling holes in studs for wiring and plumming, thats not what this size drill is made for. It does a...
