The camera seems built good but has issues. The tilt needs to raise up above 90 degrees. The zoom is digital and nearly worthless. It won’t detect a car driving with in 5’ of it and looking toward the gate. Seem it on the way out but not in. It doesn’t work nearly as good as the game camera. Needs auto tracking to follow a subject and a home position and button.

Disappointing
I have four Reveal cameras that I am very happy with so I got a Defend to try and it was disappointing. I wanted to cover my yard and it doesn’t do it well enough. The cost isn’t worth the quality.

I want to love it
I was very disappointed to realize that the 360° does not track movement. The only time that I can use the (360) tracking is by live view which costs extra money. In My opinion it should video movement as far as it can. I’d also love for it to have an 2-way audio feature. I’m a longtime customer and love your products, but can’t see the huge improvement with the 360 I was expecting.

I own several of there cameras, including the older defend and this camera to me isn't really worth the money and with all the extra add ons to actually use it. Save your money .

Is there some sort of tone or beep? That’ll let me know when something comes into the view of the camera? It does on my reveal cameras.

I spent way to long trying to get it set up. Not a fan of the app. I will send it back & reorder a Revel. Tactacam service group was great.

I’m pleased with the quality of the pictures. The user’s guide needs improved to include how to aim the camera.

Genuine difference from a traditional trailcam
There was not much difference between traditional Defend cameras and trailcams. The Defend 360 is uniqely suited to surveillance. And, the Defend 360 has an improved solar recharger that recharges in semi-shade.

I wish for a security camera you could zoom in clearer to see faces, and license plate numbers. In a pinch it works, but there is a lot of room for improvement on quality and cost.

I have them up but I can't figure out how to make them 360 when something sets the motion sensor off .

Not what I expected
It’s not really a 360 camera(it takes pictures in a 60 degree angle only, and o e direction, it’s not picking up motion for smaller animals well within described range, and camera mounted S described, 8-10’ high

This is a totally new device for me. I’m still learning how to work the device & settings. I was disappointed to know that there was a limit of live viewing unless you pay for the more costly plan.

Not connecting to cell service in the mountains of San Diego even with your booster antenna. Other cell cameras work at the site. How do I return this?
