Does not turn & freezes
When I noticed someone walking into my property and they were on the right side of the camera, when I wanted to turn to view them it did not let me move the camera to see what they were doing. I got the 360 camera for that reason to be able to move it wherever live, but very disappointed & now that I got a notification of someone walking in, it does not let me view it live. For a very particular setting
Only recommend if you can suspend on a beam a minimum of 20ft over a completely barren space. Pixel movement triggers a photo, no intelligent optimization or way to set activity zones so a fern in the wind will cause a spam notification frenzy. After having the camera up
After having the camera up for a couple weeks on my driveway, it is evident that the trigger distance on the defend 360, is no where near that of the Reveal 2. 0. Also, it very rarely catches us going out in the mornings. 3 vehicles go out between 6:30 & 8:30, and it never takes a picture of us. After about 9:30am, it seems to do fine. We should have stuck with the regular Gen 2. 0 camera.

So far I’m not that impressed. Setup, plan upgrades were a hassle. Wording in the online app not always clear. I thought I’d have a 360 view at all time but that’s not the case. add were not clear. You only get pictures were camera is left. it’s ok but a little pricey for what you get. good news is the phone reps are all good to work with and they speak Plain English

First month was great, so we decided to get the year plan and then everything changed. Now I cant even get live view. Camera is good when working but bad company.

Likes: quality manufacturing, integrated solar, reasonable bandwidth fee, decent pics and vids, PTZ works well. Dislikes: the big dislike is that you can only receive pics on the app or website - and crucially not by email. So in effect it’s a closed system. My old cam would also email you pictures, so I could set up and email forward on my inbox, and the pic would automatically get routed to people I wanted to see it. It works!
I live in the absolute middle of nowhere Missouri and the cam works. There is a couple minute transmit lag from capture to receive but that's better than I thought it would be. My only complaint is that It would be nice if you could put multiple cams on one subscription.

24 hour back scroll Function
Would be nice if it had a function where you can tap into the cam and scroll back through live video maybe 24 hours at least.

We have both Sec. Camera's. the New 360 is much better than the Defend. the battery life so far has been so much better than the other camera. We like that they are easy to set up and dont require cords and wifi. Spending the extra a both camera's is kind of a bummer, hopefully in the future they can add a multiple-camera discount. Overall the 360 is the way to go.

Poor a lot of things
Bought the camera in October 25. I tried to set it up but impossible with out Tactacam support, QR code on bottom didn't work. Got it going set up cheapest plan just to see how it works. You get a couple of live views to start out with but by the time you figured out the direction to point it the line view is done. Next, only one mounting system, on a wall, or post. I wanted to hang out from the bottom of the eves on my house. Next, the winds we have had spun the camera and it fell off the mount...

Good camera but…….
Camera does fine but once you install on tree or pole there isn’t much room between camera and solar panel plug. Unfortunately my plug is already broken.
