Perfect so far

My brother has this camera and loves it so I decided to try it. It’s absolutely perfect and love it. I’ll buy more! It’s watching my bull dozer right now while I’m out of town.

Poor a lot of things

Bought the camera in October 25. I tried to set it up but impossible with out Tactacam support, QR code on bottom didn't work. Got it going set up cheapest plan just to see how it works. You get a couple of live views to start out with but by the time you figured out the direction to point it the line view is done. Next, only one mounting system, on a wall, or post. I wanted to hang out from the bottom of the eves on my house. Next, the winds we have had spun the camera and it fell off the mount...

Good camera but…….

Camera does fine but once you install on tree or pole there isn’t much room between camera and solar panel plug. Unfortunately my plug is already broken.

You’re cam that I paid for doesn’t work unless I pay more money. And when I did it only worked for a little while.

Awesome

Second one and this is a great camera for security, especially on our 1/2 mile driveway!

Not Good

I purchased two units to keep an eye on a parking lot. When installing the units on a pole, plugging in the solar panels was difficult and resulted in both plugs being damaged. Mokeyed around for a month trying to get new ones sent to me. No improvement made to plug. . . . just the same old CHEAP MATERIAL. For a product that cost what these did the design is terrible as plug interferes with camera movement and it is almost impossible not to damage. Always been a Tactical fan, but likely will not...

Love it!!

Incredible easy set up, great pics and video, and the live view is the bomb!! Really like being able to pan and scroll right from my phone!!

Very small field of view

Field of view for the 360 Defend Camera is very small. I used a Tactacam trail camera prior and its field of view is a lot larger. Very disappointed.

great camera

Great camera, takes pretty good pictures, I am using at my home build site and some days there are a lot of pictures due to all the motion, getting them off the camera to keep for my records has been a bit challenging and an ongoing process.

Defend 360

Love the versatility of the camera. Having issues with pictures capturing motion. I have it mounted on my gravel half-mile lane to monitor anyone going down the lane. Works sometimes, sometimes not. Not very useful if you cant trust it to capture all traffic.

Live View is Great to see Camps

I only have been using my new Defend 360 since Oct. of 2025. Viewing my remote camps (2) in live View is a piece of mind, wonderful. Nov. the camera worked good. (25-40 degrees) Dec. & Jan. have been cold (0-30 degrees) The 360 is not moving right or left and very little up and down, I'm thinking its the cold weather that has frozen it. I am 3 hours from camps at my house, won't go back to camps until fishing April 1, by then it should be warmer, (40-50 degrees). I do have another Defend camera ...

Defend 360

I would rate this a 8. 5/10. The motion detection range is great. Love how you can obviously watch live and turn directions or move up and down. Quality is clear up close on recorded videos but not great when watching live. I wish you could make it take multiple pictures instead of just one. I wish the solar panel didn’t have to be attached(I know it can be taken off but would like an attachment for it). Other than those small things I overall love the camera.

Misleading. Not Full 360 degree motion detection.

Been a long time Tactacam user but this just isn’t it. The camera itself works fine it’s just it doesn’t do what it seems to be advertised to do. Does is spin 360 degrees, yes. BUT you have to go to live view and manually turn the camera from the app. It does NOT detect motion in 360 degrees. AND if you actually want to utilize the live view and move the camera around you really need to have the most expensive plan and the second to most expensive only allows 5 live views per month. Would be 5 stars if it had video and more sensitive capture

Quality is fantastic and it has absolutely everything you could need or want for installation. If you’re familiar with the tacticam game cameras, these will be a no brainer. My only qualms are that even with the premium subscription it only captures stills and the sensitivity is a little low for my liking. I realize they’re designed to monitor human sized targets but I wish it were sensitive enough to capture animals as well because I have a camera monitoring my back porch in rural Florida and I...

Pretty good security camera

The Defend 360 is a pretty good and reliable camera for peace of mind when you need to keep an eye on your off-grid gear. Solar panel and integrated battery work fantastic to prevent the need for recharging it or swapping batteries. The 360-view with the ability to zoom in is great, but wish it would trigger motion beyond it's direct field of view or at least give some sort of indication motion is nearby. Live view is the only way to move the camera around, but doesn't record the live view. . . ...

This camera is great for

This camera is great for my empty lot and we’ll be great when I start building soon to check on builders. The motion locks up from extremely far away I’m talking Around 50-60 yards. Will definitely be purchasing another one. The only reason I’ve got 4 stars is because I wish there was more options for video.

Excellent camera

The defend 360 is a really good camera. The battery life with the built-in solar panel is excellent. I live view and move the camera all the time and I am yet to see the battery percentage go down. The only thing I would’ve liked to see on this camera would be the temperature. Other than that it has been quite amazing and flawless. I am pretty much switching to this camera for everything here on out.
