Would Not RecommendMy stained caps are literally falling apart. Besides the usual cracking, the sides loosen. If one is a bit handy the sides can be glued and clamped instead of replacing..... especially when you know the same darn event is going to repeat.

Only lasted 8 months
Would Not RecommendBought 16 of these in fall of 2018. I let them season along with the pressure treated posts to be sealed in a few months. By spring 2019, 14 were warped, split, or falling apart (BTW, they are made in China). The 2 that survived were both under the overhang of a building. Luckily, Lowe’s accepted all of them for a full refund. Lowe’s customer service = 5 stars This product = 0 stars

Wish I could give zero stars...
Less than a year after purchasing 15 of these, they are warped and busting apart. This is unacceptable since they are almost $10 each. A complete waste of money and makes our new deck look old.

Would RecommendEasy install, solid quality. Ready to stain. Adhesive strip that is included seems insufficient - may want to add additional adhesive to secure to post. Apart from that, great product.

Would Recommendi got this for my mail bow post i was making and didnt feel like cutting angles on the post and this thing looks so ni e as is. A perfect fit but dont trust the little piece of double sided tape, just get some glue and glob it up there and put the cap on.

Not so great...
I bought ten of these. Within one season, almost every single one started to come apart at the seams, or on a few...the cap curled up slightly. These were all stained with two coats of stain prior to installing. I had to take them all down and staple underneath all the seams to try to hold them together. At $10 a piece, this is unacceptable.

Would RecommendThese are real wood. A real surprise in this world of plastics. Great post topper for real wooden posts can be painted or stained. Love them! Little pricey compared to plastic but they are a great change.
