Easy to use

I have had these for the past 4 years. The design has stayed the same but the materials have changed. The original ones were copper, these are copper colored plastic. The lights work very well for about a year or two. After a year, the battery contacts inside get corroded and even after cleaning, corrode again quickly. Then the light becomes unusable. This product gives off enough light in the dark.

I had the help of a store employee because it was not with the other solar powered lights. It was with the post that it is install on top of. I made this purchase because it was under $20.

4x4 Copper Solar Post Cap

Good LED light, just enough light and well worth the extra money above the lower model below this one. Take the post cap out of the packaging, engage the batteries, and place on 4x4 post, easy. Not much more to it. Love these caps

I recently bought these caps, because they were on sale, in case I need to replace any that I had gotten a couple of years ago. I love how they look on my deck at night, all lit up.

I would only recommend for looks not for lighting

I expected better light output, also had to remount one to match one nearby to get the same lighting look.

Like Product

I like this product. I only wish that it would hold up better. The finish fades quickly--does not hold up under weather conditions. I like that you can use rechargeable batteries but the hardware (wiring) does not hold up under weather conditions. The appearance is great until it fades. I have purchased about 40 - 45 of these over the years. Rather expensive considering it does not hold up longer.

Lighted Post Caps

These lighted post caps are much more decorative than the standard and more commonly found black ones. They're brighter and seem to be more reliable and more rugged.

nice addition to mailbox

This post cap gives out a nice glow at night. Copper is beautiful and will age to a pretty patina. Happy with my purchase.

A solid buy

Light came fully charged and ready for use and easy to install. Other similar products come with a minimal charge on the batteries and not ready for use.

Post cap

These post caps look very nice on the new deck. We followed the instructions and charged the batteries first for 2 days, then took the tabs off the batteries. The lights were bright after the first day, and may a nice ambiance at night.

replacement for older cap in disrepair

over time product shows extensive weathering and solar light fails. This purchaes is a replacement.Price has significantly increased.

Questionable quality

I was unsure about durability of product with the high summer temperatures. The deck is fully exposed to sun. The item was returned.
