Ratings & Reviews for Deckorators Grab and Go 6-ft x 36-in White Composite Deck Rail Kit Hardware Included

What Customers Are Saying
The Deckorators deck railing system received mixed reviews. Customers found the railing easy to install, attractive, and good value, appreciating the modern, low-profile design. However, many reported missing or damaged parts, inaccurate dimensions causing installation problems, and poor quality hardware. While satisfied customers praised the finished look, the high rate of quality control and fulfillment issues appears to be a significant problem.

There needs to be more protection for the rails getting scuffed and scratched due to the poles in the box. All four section I bought had some scratches on them. I used them anyways because I didn't want to wait 2-3 weeks for new ones. On the plus side the product went together very easily with the right tools. Product looks great for the price.
Beware - Warps in the sunlight!
Would Not RecommendPurchased 18 railings for a large composite deck. Within 2 weeks the rails in direct sunlight began to warp, postcaps cupped, and railings sagged. Decorators replaced the screw coverings for free, stating that a new formulation of the plastic would prevent damage... In less than a few weeks it happened again. My wife and I have been embarrassed by the looks ever since. We finally decided to replace all the railing and were surprised to see that this product is still being sold - Beware!

so far so good
Would RecommendThe hardware they give you is complete junk, the screws strip out pretty easily, but other than that i havent had any issues. Its quite strong, im over 200 pounds and can put all my weight on it. The worst part is i need 3 more sections to finish my product and it frequently goes out of stock at lowes, so now i have to wait till it comes back in to finish.

Great, but....
Would RecommendNice upgrade in lieu of treated wood rails. Two nits to pick: 1) screws provided have square drive head, and a minor percentage of the screws will gall out, and become very difficult to remove, 2) very difficult to install stair railing and get the rods veritcal.

Would Not RecommendI hope that this review will save someone the stupid mistake I made in ordering this product. I had done a search on the Lowe's website for Deckorators Railing in the hope of matching some existing railing that needed replacement. This item popped up, and from what I could see in the photos, it was what I wanted. What I didn't realize is that there are two versions of this railing -- one with square balusters and one with round ones. Unfortunately, the resolution on the photos was not good e...
