What Customers Are Saying
The product received mixed reviews, with some customers finding the lights easy to install and liking the appearance, but the majority reporting issues with performance and durability. The main positives were ease of installation and some illumination, but many experienced problems with the solar panels not charging properly, inconsistent lighting, and deteriorating materials. Several noted the lights did not provide adequate brightness, and many had the lights stop working entirely after a short period of use, requiring frequent battery replacements. Overall, the consensus is that the product lacks reliability and quality, undermining its value.

Purchased 12 of these. Within a month they begin to tarnish. After 1 year out of 12 only two remain working. The ten that have stopped working have water leaking inside them and it has caused the electronics to fail.On four of the twelve the solar panel integrity has failed and the pane has turned a milky white on the inside of the panel. There is no recouse through warranty and manufacturer will not stand behind their product. These look great at first but will only cause you frustration within ...

Thank youWas this Review Helpful ?
I wish the batteries fully charge with solar cell.
The only problem I am having is that even after fully charging the batteries, the lights only last about five days before the batteries go dead. If the light would only be on half the night, maybe the batteries would last.

Good inexpensive solar light.
Just got 4 of these for a new deck. Looks sharp and puts off a soft light. Now being that they are solar and being that it's late December your amount of sunlight is lower than in the summer months so I'm getting 4-6 hours of light now (at the tail end they are going dim). I expect when they have a long summer day to charge they'll burn 8-9 hours with it dim at the tail end. Make sure you pull the paper strip off the battery before dabbing a little silicone on the underneath and put it on your p...

Dekorator Lights
I have purchased forty five of these lights for the tops of my fence posts. All have worked nightly without a single issue. The instructions say to give a couple of days to fully charge, but mine working right out the box. I would recommend this product.

Never worked
Never lighted left them for days in the sun never charged up never lighted..... going back
Hi js,
Did you check to see if the tab in the battery compartment has been removed? That needs to happen in order for the batteries to mak...
Good product, but instructions needed.
This is a lovely addition to our new from porch hand rails. However, I left them out for a couple of days to activate the light panel with no luck. Thought maybe once they were fitted to the post, it would activate them. Finally, I had to go on here to get instructions on how to activate the light, and how to install it on the post properly. It would be great if these instructions were included on the box. Just sayin'...

Instructions Were Not Readily Available
I hate to write reviews when I can't yet speak to performance. This is a note about finding the instructions. They are not on the mylar piece that covers the solar panel, nor are they on the outward facing informational insert, nor the inward side of that insert. The instructions are INSIDE of the informational insert; it opens. The paper was very flat and did not have any appearance of opening and we left it intact in the packaging. After a couple of days and no charge, I reread the "inst...
Great solar lights
Bought these to try out as I needed new covers on the posts of my porch at my new house and chose these solar lights they fit perfect over the post and they give off plenty of light...Recommend this product highly.
Worked well for 5-6 months.
Tonight I noticed, 1 of the 4 I purchased have gone bad. Took the battery out of a working one and tried it in the non working one. Did not make a difference. Also noticed rust inside the battery compartment. Warranty says we have to send a letter with original receipt and original UPC code in order to claim warranty. Less hassle to just buy different caps and replace these.
Falls apart and gets discolored
Lasted about a month literally. The wood falls apart and the copper gets all discolored and spotted.

Don't buy!
We bought 15 of these in June and loved them until 2 quit working 1 month later (we exchanged them) and then all tarnished. Tried cleaning with Brasso, looked great, but overnight all streaked and looked worse than before. We are going to try to return them all, but now we have posts with no caps. Big disappointment!
Bad Lighting System
We have purchased approx 24 of these lights to surround our pool and fencing in our garden. We have had to take several of them back for replacement because they quit working even after we have changed batteries. We are very much dissatified with our purchases of this product and do not recommend them to anyone.

Very attractive
The product is very nice looking & puts out a great deal of light for its size.If you have small animals that may frequent your fence make sure they are glued down.I have had 3 in the past year get knocked off due to some animal even though they were secured. I just thought of a good idea to help out with the finish as it only last one summer. I am going to buy some clear coat & spray the copper to see it will enhance the durability of the newer ones I recently purchased.Keep in mind I live at ...

Look for better alternative
Purchased 12 lights this past summer for our back deck. I knew at the time that the copper finish would no doubt fade under the elements, not an issue for me. I also knew that they were designed with the intent on accent lighting, still not an issue. But, 2 weeks ago one quit working. The solar cell gave out so I bought another one to replace it. Then yesterday 2 more quit working. Once again, the solar cell gave out on one and the other one will not turn off at sun-rise. The lights were relativ...
worked great at first, then they started dying out
We loved these at first. They looked great and worked well enough when we had sunlight to recharge them. Then they started dying out. We thought maybe it was an issue with the original batteries, but replacement batteries we purchased didn’t help. And then we found that you can’t replace the bulbs… have to replace the entire fixture. Out of 24 of these post caps, two thirds have gone dark, expect to lose the others soon. They were supposed to last ten years (not that we actually expected that ...
Nice but
So far i'm on my second set. Yes. I Should of learned but all I do is take them back to lowes and they replace them no questions asked. I live in North Carolina and so far after 4 months the solar panel gets real nasty looking and I can only assume that it no longer charges the battery. Oh ace not figured outgrow to keeping clean
