Would RecommendWhile installing my composite deck, I had used the TimberTech Top-Loc fasteners which frequently did not countersink in the decking or the screw heads would snap off very easily. When I ran out, I attempted to order more, but they were out of stock. So I tried the deck plus screws from Lowe’s. I wish I would’ve found these and use these in the first place. Quality item, no problems whatsoever with these and significantly less expensive!!! Highly recommended!

Terrible product. Head strips very easily!
Would Not RecommendThe metal these screws are made of is inferior. The head stripped out on almost every single screw, no matter how gentle we tried to be when putting them in. Even trying by hand did not help. The only thing that did make a difference was pre-drilling every single one. if you have time for that, the screws are for you! Otherwise, don’t waste your money.

Hard Bite into wood.
Would RecommendCreates a smooth hole; reverse threads near top helps to close hole without mushrooming composite decking. I would suggest having a seal around lid of container. Had I not accidently opened the top I would not have known the free driver bit in box was missing, I checked two other boxes both missing. 3rd box had bit.
