A bit brittle
Would RecommendThese are good screws if you are only working with composite decking with pressure treated wood structure. I was using them with a steel structure and even after pre-drilling the hole occasionally they would snap off. They worked pretty well but they were probably not the right screw for the application

Use a drill bit to create an entry hole first.
Would RecommendI love the way it enters my trex boards and holds them in place. I hate that about 10% of the screw heads strip when screwing them in or out. It is very difficult to remove these screws once they strip.
