Worst composite deck screws I've ever used
Would Not RecommendLike so many of the other commenters I had two distinct problems with using these screws to secure my composite deck boards to the framing. 1. I had to consistently drill pilot holes to even get the screws started. They did not penetrate the composite decking as was advertised. 2. I always had a second screw ready to replace the one I initially put in because the screw head started to strip (I got to recognize that sound pretty quick) and it wouldn't go into the framing. Would RecommendWorked perfectly as intended. I predrilled small hole each one. No effort installing them after that. Dont countersink them per directions. Looks great.
Easy to drive
Would RecommendI enjoyed using this product. With the correct bit it was easy to drive without the bit slipping out of the end of the screw. It has a small head so that it didn't displace much product when sunk below the surface of the product. Doesn't call attention after installed.
