Would RecommendThe screws worked well on the engineered wood deck boards I am using. They are predictable and seem to hold well. The small diameter heads are less obvious when driven into the surface of the board and would probably be ideal for the optional side clips.

Would RecommendI use these screws in the side slot of Fiberon deck boards down into a treated wood joist for a special application. I needed to predrill the deck board to minimize mushrooming, but they hide nicely with the small head and hold well.
Hate anything without standard Phillips head but Lowe’s had nothing else in stock!
